From the Chief: Welcome to the internet home of the Pleasant View Fire Department! This organization is committed to providing unsurpassed service to the community we serve and our members are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our citizens and visitors. We are an agency of tremendous change, not only operational change but cultural change as well. All emergency response agencies spend a great deal of time and energy to keep their skills on the cutting edge and they change their operational methodology accordingly. We are no different, however our members have also spent a great deal of time and energy to create a culture that promotes success and a true feeling of community. We have come a long way from the "good old days" when fire fighters were just that, people who battled fires. Now our members provide services like Basic Life Support, hazardous materials mitigation, technical rescue, vehicle extrication, wild land fire fighting, and fire and life safety education to name a few. On this site you will find a wealth of information about your fire department. Please take a few moments to look around and see what we have been up to.
